Can YOU Foster?

Look at that face! Can you foster me?

This pup was found by a good citizen, who is unable to foster right now. He has a sweet personality and just needs someone to care for him. If you or someone you know can help this dog, please contact Billy Bos at 214-830-3097 or bbos5427@yahoo.com

Lucy and Ricky Need a Foster!

Lucy and Ricky are two good natured dogs found wandering in a neighborhood last Saturday. These poor pups were terribly dirty and covered in fleas. Since then their foster family has treated their fleas and given many baths. Lucy and Ricky are not microchipped, so looking for their owner has been tough.

Lucy and Ricky seem to be very attached to one another and should stay together. Both dogs are very loving, sweet, gentle and do not bark much at all. They are pretty laid back and enjoy just lounging around with the family. Both are leash trained and ride in a car well.

Lucy and Ricky currently have a temporary foster family, but quickly need to find a longer term foster or forever home. Please contact Stacie Spears at 972-849-4324 or stacie.spears@ymail.com.

Thank You Animal Lovers!

I want to sincerely thank my readers for supporting Paws to Save and my efforts to help find homeless animals a home! Thanks to you, Paws to Save was nominated and chosen as a Top Community Service Blog and Top Animal Rescue Blog for 2010. The award is designed to recognize blogs focusing on community service and animal rescue efforts.

It means the world to me that other people value the lives of mute creatures as much as I do. Please continue to pass the world along about all the furbabies and help them find a foster or forever home! They all deserve a second chance! Remember the Starfish!

“One day a man was walking along the beach when he noticed a boy picking something up and gently throwing it into the ocean.
Approaching the boy, he asked, ‘What are you doing?’
The youth replied, ‘Throwing starfish back into the ocean. The surf is up and the tide is going out. If I don’t throw them back, they’ll die.’
‘ Son,’ the man said, ‘don’t you realize there are miles and miles of beach and hundreds of starfish?
You can’t make a difference!’
After listening politely, the boy bent down, picked up another starfish, and threw it back into the surf. Then, smiling at the man, he said…‘I made a difference for that one.’"
