ROCKY -- SWEET NEUTERED MALE PLEADING FOR RESCUE FROM EVERMAN SHELTER! RESCUE ONLY!!! URGENT!!! DFW Area

I'm asking if you all could PLEASE network Rocky like crazy, to everyone you know that's affiliated with a rescue group. I'll pledge $100 and I'll help with transporting him to any no-kill group or shelter that would be able to
take him in and work with him. I just can't express how dear this dog is to me and how much he deserves a chance. I've attached photos (I know they're not the best -- Heather H., if the photos you took yesterday are better,
please attach those when you forward) and I am in desperate need of your help to get him out ASAP.

THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

Ellie,1-year-old Spitz mix, needs a forever home!

Ellie

I picked up Ellie on Dec.18 . She has now been spayed and micro-chipped  She is much cuter than the pix shows.

Ellie, a dainty and sweet, one-year-old Spitz mix, was abandoned on a neighborhood road near Northwest Highway and Midway Road. She was nearly paralyzed with confusion, making repeated circles in the middle of the street trying to figure out what had happened to her. I took her home; got her shots and care at the vet; and worked with her to prepare her for adoption. Ellie learns quickly and loves both dogs and cats. She is only 21 pounds but has manageable energy and the happiest disposition you will encounter. Ellie needs a good home where she can settle in forever.

She would fit in nicely as a solo pet, or in the company of another  dog who will both play, and say no, when it is time to rest. Ellie seems to be instinctively appreciative that she was rescued from the streets. She will make a great addition to any home.

DAS Kitties Need Rescue Group

We have two Cats here at Dallas Animal Services that need Rescue.  Due to their personality, we are unable to put them in adoptions.  We feel that they would do better going into a rescue that could find them a proper home for their needs.

Please email DASrescue@dallascityhall.com if you can help either of these to cats.

This sweet girl is named Molly!  She was surrendered by her owner because he claimed that she is not friendly.  Unfortunatley we do not have any examples of what she did that was not friendly.  She is declawed and most likely spayed.  Here at the shelter you can tell that she is fearful but she has not shown any signs of aggression with us.  Molly allows the animal keeper in the cat room to pet her but she does not seek attention.    We think she would do good in a quiet home with someone who knows cat behavior.

This beautiful boy is named Chancy.  He is a sweet cat but gets overstimulated pretty quickly.  He would do best in a home where he can be independent or possibly as a barn cat.  He is a beautiful boy.  He may look like he was being a little rude in the picture with his tongue sticking out, but it is always like that.  He has teeth so we are not sure why it does, but it’s cute!

If you have any questions about these two, please let me know.  We are really hoping to have a happy outcome for these cats.

Please email DASrescue@dallascityhall.com if you can help either of these to cats.
