Odin and Emma Search for their New Home!

Odin and Emma's current owner is going back to school and cannot keep them anymore. Very sad situation for these two dogs to be in, so please help us find their forever homes. The owner does not say they need to stay together and given their personalities, they might attract very different types of families.

Emma is a small dog, approximately 25 pounds and about 7 years old. Emma's current owner's believe she is a Jack Russell/Rat Terrier mix. She's very smart and sweet, but is somewhat cat-like in that she enjoys being by herself. In other words, she won't come pester you every five seconds to pet her. She could do well in either an apartment or house.

Odin is a 45-50 pound Boxer/Dalmation mix, about 2.5-3 years old and was originally rescued from a shelter. He's very active and loves chew toys. He's super sweet and loves to climb up on you and cuddle. He also loves to sleep in bed with you. Odin is pretty high energy, so he needs a yard or someone with a lot of energy and time to make sure he gets proper excercise.

If you would like more information on Odin and Emma, please contact Mike at mike@johnsonarchitectsinc.com.

Jewels- Adopted!

Great news about Jewels- She was adopted by her forever family! Please check out our other furbabies in need of a loving home!

Miss Jewels is a super sweet, brindle boxer-lab mix. She is 6 months old and loves to play with other dogs. She is a total cuddle buddy and is somewhat calm for being so young. Jewels is also good around cats, which is always helpful when finding a new home! As a puppy she still gets a little to excited when new visitors come over to play, but she is learning proper manners for visitors quickly.

Jewels current family loves her, but recently found out they are pregnant. They are not able to care for a puppy and a new baby, so they are trying to quickly find Jewels a new home. They are also aware of the risks involved with leaving Jewels at a shelter, so are relying on networking to find her new family. Please share her information with other friends and family members interested in adopting.

Current owner contact information will be added shortly. If interested in Jewels please contact pawstosave@pawsinthecity.org. Thank you!

Ace is looking for his forever home still!

Ace is a currently in the care of Paws in the City, but is still looking for a foster or forever home! He is a sweet dog but needs to be the only pet in the household. Ace likes to play but is also perfectly fine laying next to your feet in whatever room you choose. He loves affection and being near people. Ace is currently in boarding until we can find a foster home that suits his needs. While boarding is better than the shelter the environment is pretty similar. Being in a foster home would help Ace be more social and help him adjust to a non-shelter setting, making him much more adoptable. If you are considering fostering and do not have other animals in your home, please contact Jim with Paws in the City at jim@jlttransport.com. Ace is great dog looking for his second chance to enjoy life. Will you help him?
