Bella, Beagle/Hound Mix Looking for a Forever Home

Bella is a beagle/hound mix. She is 3 years old and had all of her shots. She will be due for boosters this summer. She is fixed. Bella is house broken and crate trained. She is very friendly and very good with kids. She has a lot of energy but very cuddly.

Pepper deserves Special Attention; She was dumped at the pound through no fault of her own.

Pepper, Corgi-X SEX: spayed female EST. AGE: 4 years EST. WEIGHT: 30 lbs HEALTH: appears healthy.

Special Note: Good girl, house trained, crate trained, hw negative, spayed, one family for her whole life, gets along well with children.

ADDITIONAL INFO: owner surrender...RESCUE ONLY..owner says she's been fearful entire life. "Pepper is a good girl, house trained, crate trained, hw negative, spayed, one family for her whole life of 4 years, they have taken her to dog training (Petsmart) to try and work with the fear issues, but they have a 9 month old baby and the dog has not adjusted well to the baby. Pepper does get along very well with their 9 year old son, and has never had problems with him. I have all her supplies (crate, bed, blue buffalo food, toys, etc) and will be happy to send all these with her, if there is a rescue who has the resources to place her in a loving and understanding new home. She looks like she may be a mix of corgi and mini aussie or aussie. She is terrified here, as I told the owners she would be.

One of Guide Dogs for the Blind's Guide Dogs was lost on 3/7 in Garland, TX. “Anka” is a 5 year old, female, Black Lab. She escaped from her yard without her identification, but she does have a tattoo 4R89 in her ear. Please spread the word as quickly as possible. As you can imagine, her partner is very distraught. Please call Guide Dogs at 1-800-295-4050 if found. Please share!

Breed Specific Rescue Organizations

Interested in adopting a dog, but want a specific breed? You can actually find breed specific rescue organizations everywhere. Labs, Poodles, Beagles and dogs of all breeds need rescuing too! They don't have to come from a breeder. If you are looking to adopt a specific breed please search for your new pup through a rescue organization before calling a breeder.

Breeds are listed below. Some regional organizations are listed where DFW or Texas groups could not be found. Please contact me at sydney@alumni.ou.edu if there are groups I need to add/remove.

This information takes a long time to compile so I will add more over time. Also researching hybrid breed rescues for all of you labradoodle, cockapoo lovers out there!
