Borther/Sister dogs looking for a new home

Yingyang and Golddust are looking for a new home as their owner has passed away recently. They are currently in foster care together with a family member of their owner. Both are very affectionate dogs, but they needed socialization. They are accustomed to being in a backyard most of the time and do not have much experience with leash training, car rides, and interacting with kids/cats/other dogs. Their foster family has been working on their socialization for the past few months and hopes that their new family will do the same. They must be adopted together.

If you would like more information on Yingyang and Golddust please CONTACT:  Ron at 214-212-8205 or Doris at 214-317-5749.

Bo and Gracie: Sweet Pits Need Homes Too!

Hi! My name is Bo and I am a 1-1.5 year old pit mix looking for a forever home. I was found with Gracie, also a pit mix about 1 year old. I am fully vetted, microchipped, neutered on 11.10.11 and I weigh 55 lbs.  Gracie and I both have our ears clipped, but we honestly don’t know when or why that happened! Please don’t judge our appearance, we both have very sweet personalities. I am a big love bug but need to learn some basic manners. The girls that rescued me feel that I will catch on with more socializing and training. I love to lick and really enjoy a good chest rub. I am pretty energetic, but after getting to play I will calm down for a cat nap. My coat is very soft, short, grey hair. Gracie and I are pretty good friends, but I am a little more independent. Paws in the City was kind enough to take Gracie and I in until we can find a forever home.  We are being well taken care of right now but sure would like to find a sweet family to live with forever!

Hi guys! My name is Gracie and I am a 1-year-old pit mix looking for my forever family. I was found with Bo, who is also a pit mix, about 1 year old. I am fully vetted, microchipped, spayed on 10.8.10 and I weigh 46 lbs.  My coat is very soft, short, grey hair with some white on my chest and front legs. Bo and I both have our ears clipped, but we honestly don’t know when or why that happened! Please don’t judge our appearance, we both have very sweet personalities. Bo and I are both love bugs, but he tends to ask for attention more than I do. I would love to learn some basic leash training, and enjoy some exercise! Bo and I are great friends and I tend to whine a little when he is away. Paws in the City was kind enough to take both of us in until we can find our forever home. We are being well taken care of right now, but sure would like become part of your family!
Gracie being a very good girl in the car!
Bo and Gracie are both available for adoption through Paws in the City. Please contact sydney@pawsinthecity.org for more information!

Basenji Mix Looking for a Home

This sweet pup's owner could no longer care for her. Fortunately, a  sweet family decided to foster to keep the owner from taking her to the pound. She is likely a Basenji mix, about 1 year old, 20-25 lbs, and in good health. This pup is Heartworm negative, fully vetted and spayed. This dog is sweet, well mannered, playful and cuddly. She gets along well with kids and other dogs but not cats. Please contact Lacy or Penny Ball at lacy.ball@gmail.com for more information on her.

White Rock Lake Pups- ADOPTED!

These two pups were found Nov 30th with no collar and running around on a busy
intersection!  They are sooo sweet, small and cute…but we really cannot keep
them. Their rescuers have 2 big dogs already and cannot afford to take care of them anymore. They have to great lengths to find the original owners with no luck and neither dog is microhcipped. Unfortunately, the rescuers are soon leaving town and will need to take these guys to the shelter if we cannot help them find a foster parent. Both dogs would make a wonderful addition to any family. Details on each dog below.
Hi, my caretaker calls me little-man  because I am a stout weenie mix.  I’m a little larger than a weenie because my legs are a little longer and stockier, but still I’m only about 15 lbs.  I’m a pretty caramel color with a white chest and sweet dark puppy eyes.  my hair is short and doesn't seem to shed too much.  I can stand on my hind legs and stand pretty for a treat!  I love to be held and/or sleep near my caretakers.  I would love to go to a home where my girlfriend can come too, but I' m happy to go anywhere I will find love!

My girlfriend is hot, she seems to be a bit more exotic than I. She is kind of like a super model... taller than I, and skinny with beautiful marks, similar to that of a Sheltie but with short hair.  I love to nuzzle my nose in her soft, soft hair, in fact we sleep together in a little basket most of the time.  She has these remarkable hazel eyes that just make me melt!  anyway as you can see we are kind of attached to each other, but I am hopeful we will end up where we are supposed to be.

So if you can find room in your heart and in your home for either of us, please contact my caretaker, Shantell Travis - 405-326-3077 or email at shantellt77@gmail.com.
