White Rock Lake Pups- ADOPTED!

These two pups were found Nov 30th with no collar and running around on a busy
intersection!  They are sooo sweet, small and cute…but we really cannot keep
them. Their rescuers have 2 big dogs already and cannot afford to take care of them anymore. They have to great lengths to find the original owners with no luck and neither dog is microhcipped. Unfortunately, the rescuers are soon leaving town and will need to take these guys to the shelter if we cannot help them find a foster parent. Both dogs would make a wonderful addition to any family. Details on each dog below.
Hi, my caretaker calls me little-man  because I am a stout weenie mix.  I’m a little larger than a weenie because my legs are a little longer and stockier, but still I’m only about 15 lbs.  I’m a pretty caramel color with a white chest and sweet dark puppy eyes.  my hair is short and doesn't seem to shed too much.  I can stand on my hind legs and stand pretty for a treat!  I love to be held and/or sleep near my caretakers.  I would love to go to a home where my girlfriend can come too, but I' m happy to go anywhere I will find love!

My girlfriend is hot, she seems to be a bit more exotic than I. She is kind of like a super model... taller than I, and skinny with beautiful marks, similar to that of a Sheltie but with short hair.  I love to nuzzle my nose in her soft, soft hair, in fact we sleep together in a little basket most of the time.  She has these remarkable hazel eyes that just make me melt!  anyway as you can see we are kind of attached to each other, but I am hopeful we will end up where we are supposed to be.

So if you can find room in your heart and in your home for either of us, please contact my caretaker, Shantell Travis - 405-326-3077 or email at shantellt77@gmail.com.

Mee Mee and Scooter Need a New Home

Unfortunately the owner of these two beautiful dog recently past away. He was living with his elderly mother in wheelchair and she cannot take care of them. They don't want to split them up. They want both of them to go to a good home. One female and one male. Their names are "Mee Mee" and "Scooter". The blue eyed one is the female, she is actually wolf...she does not bark, she howls.. The male is registered with papers. Both of them are very calm and very friendly with people. They don't bark at people when people walk up...they are very friendly. When I took these pictures yesterday, I just told them to "Sit"...and they just sat down next to one another for me to take these pictures. They are use to being indoors, except to go outside and go to the bathroom. Although, they would probably enjoy running around in a back yard. In fact, my best friend's cousins just put this pen up last week so that his mom could put them in there while she was at the hospital. Whoever takes the two can have the pen as well if they want it too. For more information call: Terri or James Jones in the evenings after 6:00 p.m. at (817) 459-0100.

Help Save Puppies & Kittens at the Dallas City Shelter!

Puppies and Kittens can get sick quickly at city shelters. They are too young to go into boarding facilities so we can only save them with foster parents available. Please let us know if you can foster puppies and kittens!
Mommas and nursing babies also need a foster home. Contact jim@pawsinthecity.org for more information!

Cracker- ADOPTED!

Cracker was orignially found on the street and taken to a local shelter. Cracker's foster mom "adopted" her to save her from euthanasia. Her foster mom already has several cats and cannot keep her long term. Cracker is all white with green eyes and medium length hair.  The Vet did a full blood panel on her and found she is healthy, just needed a LOT of food.  She's fattened up since this picture was taken.  She has been front declawed and spayed and is very, very calm and sweet (spends most of the day looking out the window).  If you know of anyone who might be able to give her a home, please let me know. Please contact: brinkley.maclin@gmail.com
