Brave Monkey Needs Medical Funds & Forever Home

Monkey is looking for a forever home and someone to help pay for his medical care. At the end of 2010 Monkey was not having a good year, he was homeless, suffering from a broken pelvis and dislocated hip after being hit by a car. Fortunately a good citizen took Monkey to the doctor, who performed surgery so he could walk again. So, 2011 is looking up for Mr. Monkey! Monkey would love to find a home and someone who can help cover his medical costs.

Monkey is around 2-4 years old and currently living in Oklahoma City, OK.  He is a dachsund mix (maybe chihuahua?).  He is not neutered yet, but will be in about 5 days.  He has so far gotten along well with other dogs, is not a fan of cats, and hasn't been tested with children.  His house training is going well and should improve once we get those terrible testicles off!  He is a sweet boy, but has typical chihuahua attitude tends to be a bit dominant. Monkey definitely needs some one who will do some training so he doesn't let those dominant traits take over.
