Copied from my vet website: This is Nova. She recently lost her owner and is in desperate need of a new home. She is a happy 9 year old, spayed female, and only weighs about 18 pounds. She only has a week before her fate is decided for her. A relative is keeping her in the interim, but cannot keep her long term. She is currently being treated for congestive heart failure, but she is stable and doing well on her medications, so please don't let that change your mind if you're interested.

I spoke with the family member who is trying to help Nova. He is nice and really wants to honor this dog and his mother is finding someone to take her....he is not in a position to take the dog....The dog had a horrible start in life and was adopted from Operation Kindness, but the family says they have not had room to take her back. She is very shy and timid and been through horrible trauma losing her owner. She has until next Tuesday as the family returns to Seattle and they desperately are searching for help. She is calm, house trained, and a good companion. She is afraid of bigger dogs. Her meds are not expensive and she is a sweet dog. Please, Please, Please.....We need everyone's help pls....Nova needs us all...please help this girl. She deserves to live at her golden years in peace.
