Tornado Aftermath: How to Help the People and Pets in Oklahoma

Please keep our neighbors in Oklahoma and their families, pets and farm animals in your prayers...

Here's how you can help:

Most of those groups which are offering assistance, including the American Red Cross, need monetary donations.
Anyone can easily give $10.00!
Help the recovery efforts by texting:
REDCROSS to 90999.
People and pets have been separated in the storm.
The
Central Oklahoma Humane Society and the  Humane Society of the United States are accepting donations to help reunite victims with their furry loved ones.

Food and Funds Are Needed!
The Salvation Army and Oklahoma Disaster Relief groups are delivering food to victims. They need money to support their efforts.
The Food Bank of Oklahoma could also use donations to help those impacted by the storm.
Help the Oklahoma Veterinary Medical Association help Oklahoma!
Go to the Oklahoma VMA site to donate at www.okvma.org

Strapped for cash? You can still contribute!
The American Red Cross will also accept blood donations.
Those who are healthy enough to donate blood can simply go to any American Red Cross location and they will help you out.

How else can you help?
  • Tell your friends, clients, colleagues by posting on your website, Facebook and send out an email.
  • Put a donation jar in your clinic lobby near check-out.
  • Become a collection center for donations such as pet food, blankets, newspapers, etc for animal shelters and ship to Oklahoma.
  • Hold a blood drive.
  • Work with your local Veterinary Medical Association or Animal Rescue Group and volunteer.
  • Keep the families and pets in your prayers!
